# New to FKL?

## Welcome to the Team

This page will walk you through the first steps you should take when joining FAT Karting League, whether you're a full-time employee, contractor, or race weekend staff.

## Getting Started

**1. Read the welcome page**

Start with the [Welcome](/introduction/welcome) page to understand how the playbook is structured and what each section covers.

**2. Meet the team**

Head to [The Team](/introduction/the-team) to understand the organisation structure, key contacts, and which hub you'll be working with.

**3. Find your role**

Head to [Roles & Responsibilities](/operations/roles/index) and find your role to understand what's expected of you and which SOPs are relevant to your day-to-day.

**4. Request system access**

If you need access to any internal tools or platforms, [submit an IT ticket](mailto:advanced-technology-c0a6ecefe97b@intake.linear.app) to get set up.

**5. Reach out**

If you have any questions that aren't answered here, reach out to your Hub Manager.
