# Driver Sign-On

> How to set up events on the Sign On website and complete driver sign-on at the event.

## Overview

The Sign On website is used to set up driver sessions and complete driver sign-on at the event. A new event must be created for every half-day session (i.e. morning and afternoon separately).

>
> Ensure you have an account created and approved on the Sign On website before the event. Without an approved account you will not be able to set up events or complete sign-on.

## Exporting CSVs from the OD

Before setting up events on the Sign On website, you need to export the correct driver lists from the OD.

**1. Select your hub and navigate to Tickets**

In the OD, select your hub, then go to **TICKETS** > **BY EVENT** and search for the event you need.

**2. Select the correct event**

Double-click the event. The export options will depend on the session type:

* **Testing weekend:** Double-click the day — you will see options to export AM and PM.
* **Race weekend (morning practice):** Select the **Practice Season Pass** and the **Individual Round** for that day. On the Individual Round, export the **AM** only.
* **Race weekend (afternoon race):** Select the **Race Season Pass** and the **Individual Round** for that day. Export the **PM RACE**.

**3. Download the CSV files**

You should now have downloaded the required CSV files and are ready to open the Driver Sign On site.

## Creating an Event on the Sign On Website

**1. Log in and select your hub**

Log into the Sign On website. Select your hub, then select **Event Operations**. This will launch the sign-on portion of the site.

**2. Create a new event**

Select **Upload Driver File**. Fill in the date of the event, event type, round number (if applicable), and the session.

**3. Upload the first CSV**

Select one of the CSV files you downloaded from the OD and click **Create Event**.

**4. Prepare the second CSV**

For the CSV file you did not use to create the event, rename the file to include **"SINGLE TICKET"** in the filename — otherwise it will not be accepted by the Sign On website.

**5. Upload the second CSV**

Scroll to the top and select **Re-upload File**. Select the renamed CSV and choose **Add to Existing**. You will now have all drivers for that half-day session ready for sign-on.
